Through charitable giving, volunteerism, and community partnerships, we strive to make a meaningful difference while carrying forward the tradition of service and compassion that defines the fire service.

2020
IMFA Created
The Iona McGregor Firefighter Association was established to support the personnel of the Iona McGregor Fire District (IMFD) and the community we serve.
Compassionate Carry-Out:
The IMFA provided meals to community members during the COVID-19 pandemic. Meals were purchased from local restaurants that were unable to operate normally during the pandemic, helping support both our community and local businesses.
2021
Firefighter Calendar
The IMFA created and sold a firefighter calendar to the public featuring members of the IMFD.
2021 or 2022?
Turkey Drop
The IMFA established the Turkey Drop, donating turkeys to the Gladiolus Food Pantry to help provide Thanksgiving turkeys for families in need within the Iona District.
2022/23?
IMFD Annual Banquet Support
The IMFA began supporting the annual IMFD Banquet, which has now become an annual event, celebrating achievements and milestones for IMFD heroes.
2025
IMFD Cookbook
The IMFA supported the creation of the first-ever IMFD cookbook, highlighting our staff members and their favorite recipes. The cookbook is currently available for purchase by the community.
2026
Branding Transformation
IMFD updated our logo and website and online presence with feature upgrades on IonaFFA.org to better connect with our supporters and the community.
